Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning, Gary Webb, Jeffrey Wigand, all whistle blowers on government and corporations whose lives were ruined because they came forward. And these are just s few names. Watch “Killing the Messenger” based on Gary Webb’s reporting or “The Insider” based on Jeffrey Wigand whistleblowing on big tobacco. They are both fictionalized versions of true events but the one main theme is that their lives were ruined for telling the truth. And there have been so many others. As people are made examples of to show the rest of the public what happens when you tell the truth about the government or big corporations that have government connections.
We probably only know 1% if were lucky of the things that the government is doing to violate people’s rights and what really goes on behind their closed doors of secrecy. And one of the reasons more people don’t come forward government can easily maintain this secrecy is they purposely instill fear in people. All with the fact that why take the risk when the people don’t even seem to care. Host Dave Bourne will talk about this and more!!!
